About Rudolf Hollmann

My name is Rudolf "Rudi" Hollmann and I have been working in purchasing for more than 35 years. I now use these decades of knowledge, personal experience and business expertise to support you in your further development as a company, as a team and as an individual.

In my long professional career, I have got to know many companies, departments, people, countries and cultures. Continuity was particularly important to me. Only when you invest the necessary time do you learn to understand the various procedures and processes. Over the years, I have learnt one thing above all: no strategy can be applied one-to-one to every company and every person. And: the human element must never lose its focus. Only balance enables Positive transformation.

That's why "All in 1 Hollmann Consulting" was created: As an independent management consultant, I want to Combine strategic thinking and personal development. Because everything together is the key to bringing about sustainable change.

Career start: ATB Spielberg (1988-2007)

I learnt my trade from scratch at what was then the second largest electric motor manufacturer in Europe. After my start and year of learning in Controlling, I fell in love with the subject of "purchasing" at first sight - and I have been faithful to this love for over 30 years now.

I spent a short but nevertheless instructive time with interesting insights into the product world at a globally recognised big player - the Swedish Sandvik Group, which specialises in machine and tool construction.

Milestone: RHI Magnesita (2007-2022)

I gained my most intensive experience at RHI Magnesita, the world market leader in the refractories segment. Over the years, I held various positions in Purchasing and was responsible for a total purchasing volume of almost EUR 650 million per year with around 145 employees in Purchasing. During the merger between RHI and Magnesita in 2017, I was in charge of the Group's overall purchasing for a year. The years in Vienna, Leoben and Rotterdam shaped my work and above all - me - for my current self-employment.

Personal matters

I have been together with my partner Klaudia since 1984 and married since 1995, with whom I have two great sons (Christoph *1991 and Alexander *1995), who are also our greatest pride!

Over the years, many shared interests and activities have welded our small, close-knit family together - from home renovations to shared hobbies such as sport and travelling.
